Happy Birthdays Boys!

2 years apart to pretty close to the day these two fun loving guys were adorable to work with!  Cole, aka "Super Cole" flew around the backyard and gave me a bit of a workout, and made sure to shine with the smile he had spent all week practicing with his mom :).  Didn't he do great?!

His little brother had his happy face on from the time he got up from his nap and was ready to show me a thing or two about being one years old.  Some might still be learning to walk...not Mr. Easton...he's practically RUNNING.  A very very sweet smile but he has trouble written all over him, he can take a tumble (yes..we already knew but he proved it to us again during the shoot) and get up, brush himself off and keep on going!

I absolutely love love this crazy gig of going to people's homes and playing with their kids while taking pictures, and even sweeter is when its a great friend of mine's home & babies :)

Thanks Jenni & Jon for your support of Shelley Lynn Photography!

You're as Young as you Feel

Maternity leave was coming to an end and we just hadn't had enough visits with Great Grandma Marion.  Morgan wanted to take her to her favorite place...the zoo.  Thankfully the heat had died down and we were blessed with fantastic weather, not too hot, and just enough sun, we ate our picnic lunch in the backyard and headed out for our zoo date!

Now...I'm going to plug the zoo...if you have kids...get a zoo pass!!  So much to do there, every time we go we see/learn something and it pays for itself after 2 visits.

We had a blast together and it was very sweet to see my little girl hold my grandma's hand, I felt so grateful to have that moment with them.  Of course, my camera was around my neck and I made sure to freeze time.  I can't believe how big my girl is getting!  Morgan had her very first pony ride...and loved it...and went on twice...we relaxed our feet...and headed to the carousal...

Where my Grandma (whose age I will not disclose as she would not appreciate it...no woman does) proved that you're as young as you feel.  She rode on the carousal next to Morgan like a trooper!!  For anyone that has not ridden on a carousal, standing next to the moving horse, I will tell you...it makes you crazy dizzy.  For love of the moment and fun my Grandma got on, and I love her for it!  I pray I'll be able to ride carousals with my grandchildren one day :)

Gram- We had a blast and I can't wait for our next outing!

CLASSIC.

This pony riding business is very serious

Miss Sydney focused on her beauty rest.  She was all dressed up...and didn't leave her carrier :)

Senior Shots -Second Half

You might recognize Aaron...out of uniform we caught up for the second half of his senior session!  It was HOT...and I mean a HOT day.  Its a wonder that I even got him to smile in the pictures outside...but then again I'm pretty funny....so I think...lol  Or it could have been the bike path we were on....let me just give you some advice...completely free...the BIKE PATH is the place to be on a hot day.  We had our fill of rollerbladers, bikers, and the occasional walker, and quite possibly some of the best work out outfits EVER...hence how I really got Aaron to smile!

Aaron -Best of Luck this year, and in your future.
