After a busy busy day on the 3rd....finally Independence Day arrived! Hot Hot Hot. As usual. :) This year we added a new tradition...maybe...riding in the children's parade. We teamed up with our friends and decorated their covered wagon. I think we did alright, the kids liked riding in it, although they did spend some time walking down the street throwing suckers at people along the way.
Next step was learning how to quickly gather up candy and scramble in the road like pigeons...we learned...but weren't the quickest on the pick up this year, but still made out with plenty of candy!
It was a great morning! Morgan took some time to cuddle with her sister for some pictures and then she went on her first carnival ride, little balloons that went around, spun and went up and down in the air...she LOVED it!

Shell, You did it again, the sweetest little girls around, and matching, it makes me remember the old days.....you were too young to match your sisters, but the hand me downs always worked too. Terrific pictures, good friends and times. Love you Mom
