This beautiful little baby first appeared on my blog about 6 months ago, decked out for Christmas like the little blessing she is, she even smiled for me as a newborn...and now...that sunshine personality has only grown with her! She was so happy, and sat up so great for her pictures, a perfect little model already. So sweet to see her play with her mommy's pearls, her mommy's high heels....I can only think how sweet will it be 16 years from now to capture her in the same pearls & fitting into her mom's heels? There will be so much love, laughter, and giggles for this girl. She is surrounded with a loving mom & dad and big brother, all of who circle her and you can tell by how easily that smile comes to her face how much love she feels.
Hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek and I'm loving watching your family grow....Miss Christina calls it "Miss Shelley Time" and I can't tell you how much that makes my heart smile :). I feel like a session is more like a play date! See you guys more this summer!!

She's our Sunshine She's Super Fun She's ONE!
Wow how fast a year flies by, I feel like with Morgan we watched every milestone so close that time stood still from time to time, with Sydney it has been a whirlwind. She was trying rice cereal, sitting up, crawling faster than I thought possible, and now she's tottering all around the house..oh yeah and she's one year's old.
Sydney's first birthday party took some planning, and of course I went crazy with a theme, I can't help it...and I thought Sunshine is the best description for Sydney. She lights up our lives and hearing her and her big sister giggle in the truck on our way to work each morning is by far the best way to start every morning. She's a tiny little thing with a lot of spirit, she loves Lenny, even when he knocks her over, or licks all the food off her face before we can stop him, she even encourages his naughty table manners by feeding him on a regular basis. The house is crazy, we are busier than ever, but in all the chaos is a ton of laughter and love.
On the love side...Miss Sydney had a house full at her birthday party. Mother nature didn't agree with me and decided it should rain, correct that thunder, lightening and down pour the day of her outdoor picnic SUNSHINE birthday party. I'm not going to lie, I was pretty frantic...picturing 17 kids under the age of 7 running around in mud, trying to fit over 35 adults under a shelter also didn't sound like a great plan. In a last ditch effort to save the party I called the park and the Park Manager (who has advised not to advertise this so...keep it on the downlow..I'm blogging it) came to my rescue and let me host the party in an indoor location at Whitnall park. Probably one of the coolest spots we could have had the party!! It was perfect. The kids had a blast, everyone stayed dry, and the sun even came out for cake time and we were able to have it outside. Best of all, Sydney was all smiles and had so much fun, surrounded by family & friends that love her so much.
I loved capturing her smile, and as much as the party as I could!

Long Over Due...Introducing Baby {C}
Holy cow..it's May...and hitting the 70's. April was the fastest month ever!! I had the best job lined up in April and that was to capture some pictures of newborn baby {C}.
A session to remember would have been the best title for this blog...if I could have gotten it up in time...but I have a very clear recollection of this little guys photoshoot. His mom tried to warn me..he likes to be a stinker, but as a mom...nothing really fazes me much anymore...and shooting newborns you have to expect to get peed on a little. BUT {C} got me GOOD. After having an explosion in his pants (which we swiftly worked together and contained and cleaned up) I carried him to the set up to start some diaperless shots, apparently he wasn't finished! That's right! He pooped on me :). It was a funny start to a shoot and hearing my friend Jenny (his mom) crack up made it even better. She is a great mom and I miss her in the office.....funny how maternity leave is WAY too long when you aren't the one at home!
Well we were able to get some sweet moments and I am grateful this friend hasn't unfriended me for taking my sweet time posting. (excuses excuses but really a March birthday and then my baby turning 1 has been quite the busy spring!)
So...here he is!

Welcome to the World Baby Chloe!
This angel is a fashionista at 3 weeks old....just like her momma, who couldn't be more excited about having this baby GIRL! She is gorgeous and did so great at her photoshoot, although I don't know that she is going to be loving hats as much as her momma....but she hung in there for us anyway. I'm so excited to share these shots, they make you want to just reach out and snuggle her.
Looking forward to the Next Chapter -Lainy
This fabulous Senior is on her way to a big bright future! Coming to Milwaukee to visit her Dad brought her to me and we had a blast checking out the 3rd Ward, stopping in for wardrobe changes at random spots and almost falling in the river....those train tracks are quite the feat in heels. I had on my trusty converse and was pretty nervous for me, but Lainy was a trooper and rocked it. Note to self...new train track location...while I enjoy a little adventure...losing clients, a camera, or even a flip flop (almost happened...if you follow my blog you might recall that little mishap) could be more than I bargain for out there.
The best part of this shoot was hearing Lainy talk about her future and how exciting it was to get new clothes for the shoot and all the fun things that a high school senior has to look forward to, it takes you back to that time, which doesn't seem like it was so long ago.
Thanks Lainy for your fun adventurous spirit, and best of luck to you this year!

Baby Bella
Bella means beautiful right, well this little doll is certainly that! She did so great at her first photoshoot! Holding her head up and not even crying on tummy time :). Its tough work to be a model, but she has a wonderful team of experts that were at hand to assist her and I couldn't have had it easier.
I was lucky enough to work with this little sunshine's grandma at my day job and clicked with her right away, I landed a new role on her team and you know how you start a new role and team and have a couple concerns about fitting in, she made me right at home. We shared our fun stories and she was even one of the first people at work that new I was pregnant with Sydney! She is truly the sweetest lady, and meeting her son and daughter in law and grand baby, it was no surprise they were the same.
I loved capturing this time with you guys and hope you like your pictures! I can't wait for her next picture session....summer will be perfect for buggy shots!! Woo woo.
Take care and talk to you soon -Shelley

Baby {B}
This little girl has quite the smile...she's surrounded by ladies who show her how to put on the shine :). Everytime her momma entered the room she lit up...then her sister...and her other sister...one at a time came in and we saved her big brother for another time...but they all kept her in smiles for me. I can't wait to see her soon and watch her grow...isn't she cute!
PS...to her momma...I officially joined Class A! Your recommendation was awesome, I love it...as much as you can love having your butt handed to you by trainers...but its great and just what I needed. I'm on the right track and might be wearing a tank top this summer yet :)
