Yippppeee! Miss Morgan is 3!

Wow...where did the time go??  3 years ago tomorrow morning my water broke and by noon we had the most beautiful blessing of all...Morgan Elizabeth.  She is a ray of sunlight and amazes me daily, from her chatter to her stories, to her leaping and bounding, her girly delight, how she plays and loves her sister "Gu-Gu" as she calls her and even her 'tude kills me.  (Side note: Morgan made up a nickname for Sydney..."Gu-Gu"...when Sydney was born she used to say Gu Gu Ga Ga to her all the time and now just walks around calling her Gu Gu.

She is a really sweet girl, with quite the imagination, and love for all things horsey.  Every horse right now is named Finn, no matter if it is her ride-on rocking horse, one of her many stuffed horses, or even the small horse figurines...they are all Finn.  She met Finn (pretty sure I blogged it...) a while back in November on a special trip with mommy and my long time friend Barb and hasn't stopped talking about him since.  I know what you are thinking....but we already have a horse named Lenny in the house...a pony is not in her near future!!  Even though like all mom's and dad's we would love to give her the moon.

I can't say enough about Morgan and how awesome she is.  (I'm beaming ear to ear) You hear a million times that you will never know how it feels to be a mom until you are and it is so true, it is the greatest gift you can ever be given.

This weekend we had a family party...of course it was a western theme...wanted posters throughout the house with 8X10 vintage black and white images of Morgan at her cutest!  Her sister Miss Sydney, cousins and BFF Dominic..yup she tells me...Mom...he's my besssst friend.....wore cowboy hats and bandanas...even Daddy threw on a cowboy hat for the occasion (not quite Tim McGraw...but VERY close I assure you!).  Sydney loved the bandana...and what do you know it was the perfect catch all for all the food she was trying and making a mess with.  The pictures of Morgan were shot by yours truly....the weather last week was awesome and luckily enough we snuck out to my favorite farm to get a couple shots of Morgan in her best cowgirl outfit.  Complete with her birthday boots!  (Yes...they light up, which makes them even cooler.)

This is her tough cowgirl face!

The {K} Wedding Celebration

A beautiful day in February gleaned us a gorgeous view of Milwaukee from Blu at the Phister Hotel for this special wedding celebration.  John & Laurie were glowing and anyone could see how happy they are together, their families were glowing too!  They were married in fabulous Las Vegas and their pictures on display were unbelievable, I was happy to capture some candid moments of them with their closest family and friends back here in Milwaukee.  One more note....kudos to my bff Lisa on her first professional assisting she did awesome and it was so much fun to have her with me! (not to mention some of the great shots she took!!)

Best wishes for a long & happy marriage!

The Guys

Cooper. Just Saying His Name Puts a Smile on Your FACE!

I had perma grin editing these shots...something about Cooper just cracks me up.  He's a really cute kid, always with something funny to say or do and Miss Morgan loves him to pieces.  Hearing him yell CHEEEESEE and basically asking if we were done in typical boy fashion he breezed through the photo shoot.  The spiderman fruit snacks might have helped just a bit.....you tell me!

Hope you had a happy birthday Coop!

Climbing is So much FUN when you are ONE...{B}

This blue eyed boy is as sweet as he is cute.  I had lots of fun watching him climb and smile and light up for his mom and dad, it is so easy to see how much fun they have as a family.  Watching {B} grow over this last year and seeing his smile get even bigger and brighter has been great...it seems like just yesterday I was taking a shot of his dad cradling him in one arm...you can still see him on my main photography site as a newborn!

I know I say it all the time...so I hope my sincerity isn't lost...but honestly I am so lucky to have such fun adorable shoots, kids and clients that I consider friends :)  Miss Stacy...my sweet sweet girl is still romping around the house dressed to the hilt in her very fancy Repunzel dress...thank you again!  I have had to bust into "Mother Knows Best" a few times LOL.

On a looonnnngggg side note...my apologies to breaking my New Year's Resolutions....a couple of 'em...blogging weekly has fallen a little...but its tough!  The weeks fly by so quick!!  Time flies when you're having fun :).  I have been certainly having fun...planning a 3rd birthday HOE DOWN at my house..since my daughter not only likes to be a princess but also a rough and tough cowgirl that is obsessed with horses.  I decided to try to go a little "Martha" inspired by a client of mine...Christina....I made my own flag banner for the party...and have really gotten into the theme this year!  I hope all the WANTED posters come out cute...I'll share some pictures...........if I ever get caught up.  I can't believe I'm going to have to start thinking about Sydney's 1st birthday party next!!!

Little {E} Turns ONE!

A fun session with a happy baby boy...still a baby even though he hit the big O-N-E!  He was walking all over...pretty sure on his feet and wanting to be wherever his big brother was...we got some great smiles and he was quite impressed with himself standing on his chair...which by the way..his chair is AWESOME.  I'm loving loving my new backdrops and they are made even cuter by my super cute clients.

Happy Birthday {E} and Belated Happy Birthday to your big brother {J}.  Thanks for coming and playing :)!

My Little Valentine's

Well the sweetest day of the year came and went and of course I couldn't resist trying my hardest to get my little valentine's into a picture together.  It wasn't a walk in the park that's for sure....putting on all my hats as Mommy, fashion designer, hair & make up, and photographer while trying to keep their attention on me was pretty nuts.  Miss Sydney only wanted to scoot around and make trouble, while Morgan tried to hold her in place, I needed a nap when it was all said and done but we had a ton of fun!

I can't believe they are getting so big so quickly.  Morgan tells me stories, gives me reports on Sydney and tries to be a little Mommy.  Sydney says mamamamama over and over and puts everything in her mouth, handfuls at a time, pulls herself up on everything and can get across the room in the blink of an eye.  They both really are sweethearts and melt my heart.  My little Valentine's.

Heartbreakers!

I wrapped up my Valentine Mini's shoot with a special visit from a friend of mine from Madison!  Getting together should be easy when you only live 1.5 hours apart, but as we grow older...and have more babies :) life gets a tad bit more complicated, to say the least, so you can imagine how exciting it was to have them on my roster for the day and the last shoot so they could hang out for a while.

Apparently the drive down agreed with Augie because he couldn't stop smiling...or it could have been his mom who knew just what to do to crack him up!  He was such a smiley little guy, I love love the 6 month stage...and 9 months because Sydney does it too.  Augie's big brother Fritz was excited to look like Daddy and put on a tie just like him so he was excited for his pictures too :)  and the sun was shining...ahhhhh overall the morning couldn't have been any sweeter.

Check them out for yourself...these two little heartbreakers, they won over my girls' hearts that's for sure.  Morgan can't wait to see her buddy Fritz again soon and Sydney can't wait till she and Augie can work on new words together.

Thanks Aut for coming, it was awesome seeing you and of course wanting me 1.5 away to take pictures of your boys!  LOVE IT!!
P.S. I think we should let the kids have a popcorn fight next time they get together just like back in the day...at your house though ;).

I love love Fritz's thumbs up with his toes!
