Spaghetti Time

A family tradition is Papa Jack's spaghetti!  My father in law always goes to the East side and gets his haircut, and when he comes back he brings home the ingredients to make his famous meatballs for the family.  We are so lucky, he always makes extras, and sometimes even delivers (why we moved within 1 mile..kidding!!).  Miss Morgan LOVED her meatballs and the sauce, she also decided to play peek a boo with us after she finished...:).  All I can say is...yes...I cringed...no she didn't have on her super large smock bib...yes...she went straight to "bubbbbllllesss" after...leaving a trail of noodles down the hallway...much to the delight of her puppy.  Thanks Papa Jack for your spaghetti dinners, we love them!

WI State Fair 2010

This was my first year that I couldn't wait for State Fair to come! Usually it marks the nearing of the end of summer to me...but this year, I couldn't wait to see Miss Morgan's excitement to see the animals.  We've been singing Old McDonald had a Farm all around the house, in the car, in the bathtub you name it for days :).  We checked out the cows, the sheep, the SLIDE...and the cream puffs!   I think the cream puffs as usual...was the favorite part :).

My sweet girl

I like to slip in a couple shots of Morgan every chance I get....because of course I'm a proud moooommmmmaaaa and just love her to pieces :)

My favorite shot right now...her smiling up at Daddy :).

A Smile for my Grandpa

-This Photo Taken by Patrick Wanta

Where to begin Gramps...  I guess with I miss you.  Life has to complete a circle and we were so blessed to have you for the time that we did, I get it.  I don't have to like it.  Tonight while working on my new site, I opened up itunes to see what to put up there, and started typing in the search for jack johnson, and as I mistakenly typed in jo, Josh Groban came up and I just couldn't help (as you have been on my mind this week) but to listen to "Up to Where you Are".   I knew it would make me cry...I can't help but cry...well A. because it is a beautiful song, and B. because it makes me think of you.

Almost a year has gone by, my daughter is walking, talking, and makes me smile daily.  I wish you were here, I wish she could hear you call her mama Shelley Beaner.  I know you can see my baby girl and are watching over us.   I know she makes you laugh too.  I can still hear you telling me Take Care of my Beautiful baby as you held her in the picture above.   I'm doing my best :).  Keep watching over us.

My blog is typically to share my pictures, which are a piece of me, how I see things, how big of a deal it is to me to get that great picture that a friend, family, new friend will always remember.  I guess...now my blog is going to share more of me.  Not really what I had planned...but you can't plan everything right?  It will be a year this week that he is gone, and he is a piece of me too.   I hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Elf & Family

So many times we have family members that get left out of pictures, they are close to our hearts and make life so much fun...our pets!  Elf is the son of Julie & Rocky and he is 14 years young.  A nice boy who enjoys slides, attention, and treats...don't we all?  I can still hear myself telling Elf to say Cheese...by the end of the shoot he followed my camera around :).  What a good boy!!

Hope you guys enjoy the pictures!
