It started with Pre-wedding Gitters...
Not the bride...not the groom...just this little photographer :).

I always said that I wouldn't do weddings...I think because I just was so stressed about the moment and the challenge of it, I made more excuses...it is a whole Saturday...blah blah blah...but thanks to some really great friends and their encouragement...and one fantastic couple that believed in me..I'm able to say...as much as I love weddings...I love capturing them even more!!

It was a beautiful Wisconsin January day...it was January...so yes it was FREEZING...and we had a nice light snowfall the night before to add to the fun :) and everything went as planned!  The fantastic couple referred to above:  Katie was stunning, Lucas looked sharp and was completely captivated with his bride and Tyler was Tyler...entertaining everyone and having a blast, a perfect family...made for each other.  The bridal party was a ton of fun and really good sports about the outdoor pictures.  I had so much fun being part of the day and hope everyone enjoys the pictures and memories!

As usual I'm sitting in front of my computer monitor with this super big grin on my face...can you say LOVE LOVE this gig...this happy place that capturing a super sweet pic gives me drives me to be up at 11pm...6.5 months prego.  passion people :)

Aren't babies awesome?  Mr. E was the perfect model for these cute knit hats.  Well..he was also the perfect naked baby as you can see too...lol.  His mom said...Oh he loves taking his clothes off...and sure enough...smiles galore!

PS: If you book a session with me for February or March, I'll throw in a hat of your choice!

Happy 6th Birthday Evan!

Holy cow...I was at your mom's baby shower...and you are 6!!  Seriously?!

This little impromptu shoot was high energy...freezing cold...which is what you get if you have a birthday in January right?  But indoor shots against a wall wouldn't capture the true spirit of this adventurer....so we braved the cold, modeled some hats and we all tried to pretend we were in Mexico.

Thanks for being a great sport Evan...and mom :)...we laughed making this lil man jump, run, and try to keep a straight face while putting on a "nice" smile lol.

Happy New Year! Happy New Baby!

This sweet little girl made her grand entrance on the #1 party day of the year!!  December 31, 2010  What a cutie patootie...tons of hair...and can you say..ALERT??!!  A two hour newborn shoot and she didn't fall asleep the whole time...mom fed her, rocked her, cuddled her...no sleepy pictures for this peanut...she didn't want to miss a thing.

Congratulations Adam & Susan...baby L is beautiful.  Hope you enjoy your newborn & these shots of her :)

Big D and Little A

I'm sure anyone following my blog is familiar with Big D...but now he is a big brother and his little brother is 3 months already!  Almost ready to field the ball that D throws his way...kidding :)  These two are so cute, they both have so much personality you just want to eat 'em up...and were great little models for my hat shoot too. 

Knit hats are so so sweet on babies and toddlers...and kids...oh and everyone...and I just so happen to have them in stock and available for your photo sessions and to purchase!  Check out some of the examples on this little cutie...and let's not forget...D turned 2 in December so I snuck some shots in here...

Happy Snooze Year

With a full night of partying it up under our belts we spent a nice cozy New Year's day indoors snuggling on the couch...well my family all fit on the couch and didn't leave room for me.  I don't even really know how the 3 of them fit on the couch...a 90 lb German Shepherd and all!  I just know that Beauty and the Beast is a big hit in our household right now and Miss Morgan loves it.

Here is my cute family :)  Love them so much!!
