Fall Family Photos

I feel like time is flying by!  The weather is awesome, and the colors on the trees make me smile...even while driving to work.  I love fall.  I LOVE FALL.  I love fall family pictures.  Thank you guys for choosing me for your family pictures.  It means alot to have your faith in me :)i  As we grow up (kind of...) and get busier and busier with our own families it is harder and harder to find time for our friends, although I was minus my hubby and sweet girl, it was still awesome to hang out with you guys!!  To hear Gabs say....Shelley...Bye Shelley at the end of it was awesome!    We need a little trip down south...soon!

OMG.  I'm old.  But not as old as my sister.  (love you sis!) My nephew (and godson) is graduating from high school!  It was fun to spend a little time with him, he even had to put away his cell phone long enough to look at me and my camera.  How I want to bash it in a million little pieces sometimes...yet I'm guilty of the texting addiction as well....I did turn the radio to the spanish station for a couple blocks just to see if he would notice.

Kyle, I wish you all the luck in your future and I'm proud of you, this is it!  I hope you approve some of these images lol.

Susan G. Komen -Race for the Cure

This year it was my pleasure to be asked to be a volunteer photographer!!  I snapped team photos and lots of candids.  The sunrise was beautiful...even if that wasn't my first thought when the alarm went off at 530am the morning after my sister's bachelorette party....ugh.  It was well worth it though, and even more fun when my hubby, Miss Morgan and my mother in law joined in!  I'll be turning a lot of these shots over to the Susan G. Komen for their website but thought you guys deserved to see some too.  16000 people this year down at the lakefront!  It makes my heart smile to see so many people care.

Hollywood Threadz

So...you might be thinking...what did she stop shooting?  Nope, I had a really great opportunity to shoot models for the upcoming new store:  Hollywood Threadz!  It was an awesome day, with about 12 models from age 1-30 sporting some of the latest trends that will be featured in the new retail store.  They were all a ton of fun to work with and post work has been keeping me busy busy busy!!!  The store is opening in November:  801 North Mayfair Rd, Wauwatosa, WI.  Hollywood Threadz will have name brand clothing new/used for great prices!  Click on the flyer below to pull up full screen.

Danielle -Senior Shots

To have someone come over 50 miles to have their senior pictures taken by me was such a fantastic compliment.  It was a great day and I kept my fingers crossed all morning...which was RAINING!!  The sun came out, the grass was even greener by the time Danielle arrived...just what I had hoped for.  I think we ended up some really great shots.

Danielle & family, thank you so much for going the distance...literally...I really hope you have a great Senior year and enjoy your pictures :)!!

AJ Turns 2!

I can't believe a week has gone by since my last post...or maybe I can...busy can't even begin to describe this last week.  So much chaos...so much fun.  I had a great time with this pair of cutie patooties, even easier than normal for me to act like a crazy person...since Mandy, AJ's mommy is used to it (high school had some crazier moments I'm sure...hey ol friend)....and the park was empty!!  AJ is such a sweet little girl and rocked out the pink tutu with style.  Isn't she the sweetest??  Mandy, not sure how we got lucky to have such cute little girls but I thank my lucky stars everyday :).  Thanks for the good time and enjoy the pictures!  You'll notice I mixed up my style a little bit here too..........

Kayla's Senior Shoot

It was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine...I can't believe August is over and school has started!  Hopefully, the sun will stay out a little longer before the skies turn to blah blah everyday.  There was nothing Blah Blah about Kayla or her senior shoot.  I think we might have gone just about everywhere!  I won't lie I was afraid she would break an ankle in her heels on the tracks, or just walking in them...but they were worth it.  Also worth getting a lecture from the train patrol letting me know that shooting on a live train track is NOT advisable...  Kayla I wish you all the best and hope you enjoy your shots and your senior year!

A new Addition

A new arrival is due for this beautiful family on September 16!  Boy or Girl....boy or girl....hmmm...nobody knows!  What we do know:  Baby will have a very cute Big Brother Dominic, and two fantastic parents, and a very big yellow lab...Bobo...formerly known as Bogey.  We can't wait to welcome your new bundle of joy.  We wish you guys the best and hope you love your maternity shots :).  Lisa, you look fabulous and thank you for letting me share :).
